Bless you!
This morning on the bus on the way to work someone near me sneezed, and actually made his sneeze sound like "apchee" while he did it. "Apchee" is the sound Hebrew speakers use to describe a sneeze, kind of like "hachoo" in English. This got me wondering. How do people sneeze in other languages? And do people actually bother to make their sneezes sound like that? And what do you say to someone after they sneeze? Here in Israel it's "לבריאות" ("labriyoot"), which means "to health".
P.S. I don't know if it was psychosomatic or whatnot, but while typing this post, I totally just sneezed all over myself. Bless me.
