Irish Gaelic endearments?

I have a friend who is Irish, and I want to tell him that I kind of have a crush on him. (I also want to post this on facebook, "I kind of have a crush on someone")

So I'll need two translations.

I don't trust google translate, so could anyone give me maybe an accurate way to say these things? Not so serious as "I love you", but not the platonic version of "I like you (as a friend)"
