Interesting thing, though, a lot of them seem to end in a random open or close parenthesis. Google translate just leaves that as a random parenthesis.
Why is this? Is it actually some other character that looks like a parenthesis to me because I can't read Cyrillic? Is it short for angry or smiley or sad faces? Do Russians, as a rule, just type really badly?
Edit: Thank you guys! It IS just smileys, which was my second thought (after "HUH? That's a weird typo to see more than once!") but I like to know things instead of just thinking them :)
