looking for an italian word

I'm looking for a (preferably two- or three-syllable) Italian word with the "ch" sound in the middle -- like "bacio" or "doccia" -- that would be appropriate as a name for an animal. Unfortunately my fourth-grade Italian vocabulary is failing me.
