On my second language trip to Berlin, my German class was populated mostly by Swiss-French students. We were always conversing with each other, and virtually everyone in the class had a strong French accent. After a few weeks, I was starting to speak German with a French accent! "Diiie IiinZEl an Derrrrr Kuuste LIEgt!"
It was all very silly, but fun!
