a few questions about brazilian portuguese
hey yall ~
recently i started learning brazilian portuguese and since i already speak french and spanish, a lot of stuff is pretty self-explanatory and i've gotten a lil bored with my textbook,, so i've taken to listening to funk music, looking up the lyrics and figuring stuff out from there. anywho, i have a few questions (and i'll surely have more later)
1. querer é fazer algo = why the é? it seems to mean the same as "querer fazer algo" but i can't find any explanation for the "é"
2. "te deixa apaixonado/mais tu não é lembrado" - is it possible that "mas" is being pronounced "mais" or is it more like "the more you're not remembered"?
3. could you tell me which of these sentences is possible, if any?:
"eu e minha mãe vamos à praia"
"eu e minha mãe vai à praia"
"eu e minha mãe, a gente vai à praia"
"eu e minha mãe, a gente vamos à praia"
