Test of Russian as a Foreign Language

I've been studying Russian on-and-off, on my own, for about three years. Since I'll soon have to apply to universities, I'd like to have some kind of test to prove that I can actually speak Russian and that I'm not just making this up.

The problem is that I can't find any tests located in the U.S. "Test of Russian as a Foreign Language" is offered only in Russia. :| So, does anyone know any tests someone in the US could take to prove their knowledge of the Russian language?
