1 Poem - 6 languages

Hello world!

I'm currently working on a movie project. I want to make a movie about  a poem with 6 lines made up of 6 scenes and therefor I want every line translated into a different language so every scene has another atmosphere. I already have or got lines translated into English, Spanish, Japanese, German. Now there are two more, and i decided that one has to be in Russian and the other one Latin.

I don't know anybody who speaks Russian but there are many Russian speaking people on livejournal, right? I know a bit about Russian grammar but only how it works generally.
So the Russian line should be "Everything is love and pain". I tried to do it on my own with help of the internet and got "все это любовь и боль". But i heard that in present time there is no need for an "is", but doesn't "это" mean something like that? How is it right and are there more versions possible (like another word for "love/pain" or something meaning the same but is composed more poetical)?


The sentences i want to translate to Latin is "A (female) lover's desire, a star that rose from the sea/ocean". I once had Latin lessons in school but that's long long ago. What i managed to do on my own is:
"Desiderum amarens, astrum/stella ascendabas ex/ab mari"
but I'm ABSOLUTELY unsure about this one.
1) "amarens" (should be a present participle active ._.) is either Genitive nor is there a Female form right?
( 2)  not so important: is there a difference between "stella" and "astrum" )
3) "ex" or "ab" or both?
4) after "ab" there has to be Dative (mari), what's about"ex"?
5) Any suggestions for another word for "rise"/"ascendabas" (is it grammatically right?)
