some German translation help needed, please!
I'm reading a book that quotes extensively from German, which I haven't had any contact with since high school and have basically forgotten. I need help with the following, please:
1) Tierdämonenchor: "(...) suggests as a possibility that a Tierdämonenchor and the ityphalloi perhaps came into conflict one way or another (...)"
I interpreted this as "daimon scene chorus", but I could be off.
2) "But according to Körte's well known and for a long time influential theory, Attic comedy was born out of the union with Doric mime with the 'echt attischen, in weschselnder, meist tiergestaltiger Vermummung aufttretended Chor'."
Also, does anyone know of a good online German word study tool? Thank you!
