Words that cannot be translated ?

Recently, I've been thinking about words that either cannot be translated or simply do not exist from one language to another.
The English word “frizzy” is the word I've had in mind. I was wondering if Asian languages would have a word for this, because, as far as I know, naturally straight haired people don't get frizzy hair. (I could be wrong, of course.)
This got me wondering about all languages. Are there some words that exist in German but not French, for example. I'm thinking that languages that are vastly different would be more likely to see this happen, but I don't know.
What can you guys contribute ?

(Apologies in advance if this is hard to follow. Just tell me and I'll try to clarify.)
