Carved Glass Bead

I picked up these glass beads from a thrift ship and when I bought them I noticed the there appeared to be a word written on either side of a very typical east Asian happiness symbol. The carving appears to me to be similar to Mongolian. But I am asking if there is anyone out there that could enlighten me? Thanks in advance.
