I'm going to be a college freshman this September, and while I'm majoring in Art History, I'm really interested in languages. At the school I'm attending, you take three courses a semester, one of which (or two of which, depending if you're double majoring), is on your major, and the others are filled with courses of your choice. The school also has evening language classes available. My question is whether you think taking four language classes at once would be too much.
At this point, I was thinking of using my two remaining classes to take German and Italian, and then take Spanish and French at night. I've already got four years of experience in Spanish from high school which I don't want to lose, I figured Italian would be a good match with Art History, and I've always wanted to learn German and French.
Do you think it's doable?
