Clause Boundaries

Hello,

I need your help to identify the clause boundaries in the following sentences. I'm not sure of them. It's not homework, just for practice so that when I do get homework, I'll be ok. :D
My boundaries are separated by //.

1. And a man will be known as a priest just by wearing a thread (And a man will be known as a priest // just by wearing a thread)

2. A person's spiritual position will be ascertained merely according to external symbols (A person's spiritual position will be ascertained // merely according to external symbols)

3. And he reestablished the eternal religion of man, characterized by the divisions of society (And he reestablished the eternal religion of man // characterized by the divisions of society)

Thanks for your help!
