I just had an odd idea.
If this already exists, please point me towards it!
Is there something / some way that can tell you how easy/difficult a language will be to learn GIVEN the languages you already know?
For example, I want to know how I would find learning Portugese, given that I have conversational knowledge of Italian and have studied French for a number of years. Or if I wanted to know what it will be like learning Czech if I knew Finnish and German.
And (ambitiously), is it possible for a program/database to be intelligent enough to know what I will find hard - grammar, syntax, script etc?
Is this impossible?
