Hey all, I'm new here but I've been lurking for quite some time.  I had a couple of questions for you all:

1. Can anyone recommend a good way for me to practice reading Arabic?  I'm taking a first-semester Arabic class at school and so far I've been terrible at learning the alphabet; I've never studied a language that has a different alphabet before so this may be why, but there are so many letters that correspond to sounds that are just barely different (such as س and ص ) that I'm having trouble keeping them straight and recognizing them when we do dictations in class.

2.  What's the best way to get translations of things like Disney movies or Harry Potter books (for example; I'm looking for things that I would have read or seen in English that wouldn't be too difficult for a beginner-ish student to comprehend) in (Mandarin) Chinese, Italian, or Arabic?  Can I find them on Amazon, or is there another site that's better?  I can watch clips of things on YouTube but I'd like to be able to get the full movies.  Someone posted on arabic a link to Disney's Beauty and the Beast in Arabic on YouTube, but that's the only full movie I've been able to find.

Thank you in advance if you can help me out!
