Italian for Speakers of Romance Languages

Right now, I'm fluent in Portuguese, advanced in French and Spanish, and I can get by in Catalan. That being said, what would be a good way to quickly pick up Italian (I was able to get a solid base Catalan after only about a month of study)? It's been "bothering" me for the past few months or so that I can read Italian with so much ease, yet I cannot produce any sentences in it. :P
