I was talking to a guy from Tunisia on FaceBook this morning. His English was not that great, but it was probably better than my French. We traded some French phrases back and forth and I mostly understood.

In one case, he said chui technicien. I asked about chui and he said it meant je suis.

I took it to be some kind of French slang, but I really have no idea. Has anyone heard this before?
