Malayalam words and phrases?

Hey, guys. I was reading a book recently that had main characters who spoke Malayalam, and there were a few Malayalam words and phrases sprinkled into the text. I could get most of the general meanings from context, but I'm really curious about what the specifics are and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Words

edda/eddi (son/daughter?)
kando
sheddi (an article of clothing?)
pagathi (partly/partial?)
chedduthi
Kalli Pavayuda Veede (in the book, a Malayalam retelling of Ibsen's A Doll's House)
"Aiyyo, kashtam."
allay (like putting naa at the end of a sentence in Hindi?)
molay
"Parraya." ("Tell me"?)
