I've been to the Naval Museum.
Browsing the exposition of ships and ships equipment I noticed that many guns of 18-19 th century have personal names. The names are "sudden death" and similar to that.
Why people prefer to give long two-three word names ("sudden death") to the smaller objects (guns), but they give short one-word names (Sacagawea, Odyssey, Victory) to the bigger objects (ships)?
