This might be a bit out of place, but...

I'm thinking about going to college to study English (my mother tongue) and German, with some combo of a major & minor or a double major. I'd like to:

-teach at the college/university level

OR

-work translating documents, etc....


Recommendations?


Extra info: ~3.6 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) 43rd in my graduating class of ~470, etc... Scholarships, etc, a big plus, etc, etc, etc. Michigan resident, willing to travel, interested in studying abroad...
