Orientational Metaphors

Dear fellow linguists,

I am currently working on metaphor concepts and theories, with a focus on Lakoff & Johnson and I will soon do a presentation on this topic and would like to spice it up a little with scenes from movies in which metaphors are used. I am especially interested in the use of orientational metaphors*, so if you can think of any movies that use this kind of metaphor, I would be more than happy if you could tell me about them.

* for example:

HAPPY IS UP; SAD IS DOWN
CONSCIOUS IS UP; UNCONSCIOUS IS DOWN
HAVING CONTROL OR FORCE IS UP BEING SUBJECT TO CONTROL OR FORCE IS DOWN
etc.

Thank you.
