Hope

A question about English

Is it completely unnatural for native speakers of English to use the future tense after "hope"?

"I hope you die" refers to the future of course, but if someone said something like "I hope you'll die" would he/she sound like a foreigner?

Is it possible to imagine a context in which it's possible to use "will +verb" after "hope"?
