amusing tools for German as a second language

I'm looking for something for my dad, who refuses to use his German with me, so I'm not sure how good he is.

Have any of y'all used 'Webster's English to German Crossword Puzzles?' I can't find any customer reviews or detailed descriptions online, and there seem to be over 20 difficulty levels.

Can you recommend a fun or amusing book relevant to a variety of skill levels?
