quick portuguese question

My Portuguese class hasn't really gone over this sort of sentence structure yet so I was wondering how you might say something like "He stares at me." Would it be "ele me olha" or "ele olha me"? Or do I have the wrong form of "eu" entirely? (and how would you make that progressive? "ele está olhando me"?)

Thanks!
