German Text

I've been sparingly teaching myself German for almost five months and I'd like to check my progress. Below is a small text I've written based off of the first sentence of "Alice im Wunderland." Am I writing alright? Are there any glaring grammar or spelling mistakes I should be aware of?

"Alice fing an sich zu langweilen; sie saß schon lange bei ihrer Schwester am Ufer und hatte nichts zu tun."
Alice hatte gesessen am Ufer mit ihrer Schwester wann sie habe angefange sich zu langweilen. Ich habe niemals gegehen oder gesessen aus einem Ufer weil ich will nicht mich zu langweilen. Wann ich mich langweile ich fang an nicht fröhlich sein, und das is sehr schlecht! Ich will nicht tun was Alice hat getan.

Viele danke!
