English Orthography materials for arabic speakers
At the language school where I work, we have a large intake of young Saudi guys who basically didn't come equipped with any study, timekeeping or language skills. Even the students who are really keen and motivated amongst them are a bit scatter-gun/bouncy puppy in their study attempts and they need a bit of help directing themselves.
To give them a boost the school's running some study skills and writing workshops for them, and I'm down to teach them. I've done dyslexia work before, so I've got some suitable general writing materials, and I've got a good idea of how Arabic is put together and the L1 interference issues from Arabic, but I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for writing support materials specifically designed for Arabic speakers.
