Linux-specific language programs

I'm getting an Eee for Christmas, so I'm going to be using my time on the college bus to fiddle around with various language learning programs. I'm specifically learning Japanese and Finnish, but general programs are fine too.

The ones I know of are:
Anki (SRS program)
KanjiPad (Kanji recognition program)
Scim (IME)
