alcarilinque and I have a very special, spiritual relationship with the song "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler. Imagine our excitement when I found that it had been covered in Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Icelandic (this clip only has a part of it, and there're other songs in it too), and had been duetted with a French artist singing her lines in French. I know it's been covered / remixed by various other people (and there're more than one Spanish versions (lesbian kiss advisory), too!)

This also brings to mind the beautiful catastrophe that were the translations of Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend. For those who haven't seen it, I can't honestly recommend it, but the Chinese is hilarious since it sounds extremely edited. It makes me laugh, and 不是一个秘密

Can anyone else find awesome translations of Total Eclipse of the Heart? Are there any other terrible pop songs that have been multilingually translated? I NEED MOAR

Edit: How could I possibly forget? In high school a few years back we definitely heard the Spanish version of Barbie Girl, and "Chinese" version, and a "German" version. Also Kelley Key did one in Portuguese.
