  • Mood:

persons vs people

This is something about which I've wondered before and cannot seem to find an answer on my own.

When is it appropriate to use persons instead of people? For example, what would be the difference between "four persons" and "four people?"

I'd appreciate any help which anyone can provide on this matter. :)
