Stories for Kids: Present Simple (esl)

Hello everyone!!

Does anyone know of any good (free) downloadable stories for children that show the uses of the present simple?

Any site with a good variety of simple stories that introduce different tenses would be great. When I google, everything that I find would be way too complicated for 8 year old esl beginners.
