College advice?

Greetings, all. I'm currently taking classes at a local community college, but I intend to transfer to a four-year school soon and major in Linguistics. I would like to teach at the college level eventually, so I need to know about graduate schools as well, but obviously not right away. Any school recommendations in the Mid-Atlantic US (I live in Virginia)?

PS I've been giggling and grinning my way through the posts from the last two weeks, particularly octopodes/octopi/octopuses and agnus dei--I think I'm going to like this community a lot.

EDIT: Wow. Thanks so much for the outpouring of information, everyone. I'm probably going to end up at ODU still...I know someone who just graduated from their Linguistics program, and several others have recommended it to me, but I will definitely keep all the grad schools mentioned in mind.
