When you lose interest in a language.
Has anybody here lost interest (be it completely or just some what) in a language? If so, why?
Maybe it was my French, maybe its just me. But my interest for French is growing smaller and smaller. Before I took French this past Spring I loved it, now.... My French class was very dissapointing. Two days on a chapter then an exam following the chapter didn't allow ME to fully grasp all subjects. In my German class we covered 4 chapters in a semester, in French, 11. Add to the fact that eventhough my accent was much better than most people in the class, the teacher would rather, joyfully may I add, complement the guy who could barely pronounce "comment allez-vous?"
From French class and on, my interest has been, like said, shrinking. Don't get me wrong, I still plan to learn it, but now, not as enthusiastically.
