A couple of French questions
These are probably very silly questions, but I hope that you could help me!
I'm reading Le Petit Prince in class right now, and at the end of chapter 17, the final sentence reads, 'Et ils se turent.' What is the infinitive of 'turent'? When I looked through my dictionaries, I couldn't find a word similar to it.
The second question I have has to do with the phrase 'petite mort'. I only realised today that 'petite mort' refers to an orgasm, and now I'm confused on a lyric from the song Justine by Indochine. 'Ce n'est rien juste qu'une petite mort,' is the lyric (here's the whole song). In this instance, is 'petite mort' meant to be taken literally or figuratively?
