Finnish Knitting Pattern Translation Help

Hey there!

My girlfriend's been doing more Finnish patterns, and while she can read the charts pretty well for the most part some of the notes are throwing her off on a recent project. Any Scandinavians here able to lend a hand? The following are the bits she says she needs:

"Pitsineuleen väliin jäävä sileäneule"

"Huivissa toistetaan siisäkkäin kerroksia 1-28"

"Reunoissa jatketaan kolmen "nypyn" korkuisia kuvioita"

And because my linguistic curiosity begs, I'd love it if someone could explain how to pronounce any of the above. I'm familiar with German, having learned it in elementary school, but I've never quite mastered the umlaut so I'm not sure I'd be landing within two cells on an IPA chart of the right pronunciation. hehehe...

Thanks in advance for the help!

Edit: Blonde moment at midnight here; just remembered that Finnish isn't even an Indo-European language, much less Germanic, so naturally any German skills are minimally useful at best. Please forgive the blunder.
