Contemporary Japanese learners

Hi guys. Just wonder what do you guys think of Japanese learners nowadays. Do they speak proper Japanese? Do they accidentally or unwittingly leave out particles when writing Japanese? And how many of you know the usage of honorifics? I found that quite a number of Japanese chinese-learners has the tendency of over using chinese-kanji instead of japanese itself. Sometimes, they prefer to use kanji even though there are plenty of Japanese words can be the substitute of that kanji. For example, they use 理解(rikai) instead of 分かる (wakaru). Besides, being influenced by anime and manga, people tend to forget the usage of polite form or honorifics when talking to someone they don't know or older than them. I, personally am happy that anime encourages many to learn Japanese. But at the same time, I cringe whenever hearing rude or vulgar words come out from their mouth. So how about you guys?
