answering the phone?
What's the standard way of answering the phone in any language? (eta: And what does it translate to in English?)
I just realized that in Spanish (at least when I've noticed on TV shows) they say "¿Sí?" (Yes?) or ¿Diga? (Say?). Obviously I missed the boat with that one, but I'm interested to see if a lot of languages use "hello?" or not.
