I've finally made it through The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales, and as I was trudging through the afterward, it gave a brief history of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm's lives.
At one part, the afterward inexplicably doesn't provide a translation as it does everywhere else, and I'd like to ask if any of you are up on your French :)
"The librarian, Langlès, seeing [Jacob] studying manuscripts in the Bibliothèque, protested with indignation: "Nous ne devons plus souffrir ce Monsieur Grimm, qui vient tous les jours travailler ici et qui nous enlève pourtant nos manuscrits."
Thanks in advance!
