Saying

"Take what you want and pay for it, says God" is often quoted as a Spanish proverb, but I've never heard something similar to it in Spanish, and the structure doesn't sound Spanish to me.

I know it appears in Zorba and in some Agatha Christie's novel.

Anyone knows what's the real origin of it?
