The Hitlergruß in German
I'm actually sorry to have to ask this, because the topic in itself makes me very uncomfortable. But I need it for a paper that's due in two days, and my Google-fu is weak.
In German, which verb would you associate with the Hitlergruß? There are several to choose from in Dutch (make, bring, show, etc.), but it seems there is no German equivalent of a sentence that means "he/she performed the Hitlergruß." I'm sure there has to be something... what would be a neutral, descriptive way of stating that a group of people performed the greeting?
(Bonus points if it can be used in a sentence with "gezwungen" - the paper is on the subject of NPD/HdJ holiday camps for children.)
Thanks in advance!
