Translation of a sentence into French?

zz

I want to use something on these lines for a presentation I'm doing, but I suspect that the second part is fairly wrong, being more or less a literal translation of what I want to say in English. Can anyone confirm this, or suggest a better way of saying 'what you can understand about a society from its attitudes towards healthcare'?

Merci beacoup pour vos aides!
