'Elephant' in an Indian language?

So I'm naming my my car. A friend recently brought back a lovely blue-green elephant ornament from her trip to India, which is hanging from the rearview mirror. Since it's almost the same shade as my Saturn ION, I'd like to name the car something like 'elephant' or even 'green elephant' in one of the languages of India. I'd particularly like to know how this translates in Hindi, Bengali/Bangla, Nepali, Punjabi, Sanskrit, and Tamil.

However, if you have a translation in the following, I'd be interested as well: Assamese/Asomiya, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri (also Meitei/Meithei), Marathi, Oriya, Santhali, Sindhi, Telugu, or Urdu.

A transliteration (phonetic spelling) would be best, but it would also be neat to see it in the original. Many thanks.
