Where do children come from?

I'm translating a drabble into English and I need your help, as the title got me a bit perplexed.

I need to know what a child born in the English-speaking environment would say when they ask how they were made. Is it "Where do children come from?" Or do they ask the question in some other way? Help!

Thanx in advance,
Magd.
