I am working on a constructed language, and I am trying to come up with a unique way to express the time, duration and manner of actions. I was wondering (in a sort of broad sense) what unique methods are utilized in natural languages. I am already familiar with those of Japanese, Chinese, and a few European languages, all of which seem to be largely prepositional in their approach.

Thanks!
