Latin?
I just realized I can study Latin in addition to French next fall, if I'm crazy if I want to...
Should I?
I've always been intrigued/drawn-to Latin, for the following reasons:
-I'm interested in theology, history, and etymology
-Speaking a "dead" language just seems cool, and Hebrew was too hard
-It doesn't change. There are no "new developments" to keep up with. I know this may be a minor point to some, but I like that...lol
-I love me some Latin hymns, especially when sung by Sinéad O'Connor.*
So what do you think? If it were you, would you? (I have 1.5 years of German, and 1semester of Hebrew, English is my native language...)
*Do you have any other similar Latin musical favorites?
