Self-guided language training for the medical field?

Hello, all. Can anyone offer suggestions for language-learning software that places as much emphasis on learning to read as it does on speaking and listening comprehension? I've heard that Rosetta Stone does not teach one to read so much as to converse, so that's not an option, since this software will be used for training copywriters and proofreaders. Is there a similar system out there that does focus on reading as much as on conversation? We're looking for training in French, German, and Spanish.

Also, is there such a thing as an English/French, English/German, or English/Spanish dictionary that is specialized for medical terminology? Can anyone recommend some?
