Oh what to do

Alright, I'm having a dilemma. I'm a Spanish major, and as required at my school I need to take another 2 years of a language. I'm about to finish my first year of Japanese, and for some reason the whole Japanese program seems to have been cut. I also have two semesters of Latin, but honestly, I don't remember that much at all, so I think starting it again would just be a complete waste.

So, I need to start yet another new language. I really wanted to take Italian, but it's at a bad time, so that's out of the question. All that's left is French and German. I'm curious as to everyone's opinions on the two languages. Which is more difficult, more fun, more exciting, etc. So any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
