I'm looking for any self-learning resources for Gujarati. It's a very difficult language to find anything for, no one seems interested in learning it... even some lesser-spoken Indian languages are more popular.
I've downloaded Rachel Dwyer's book from her website and I've seen Colloquial Gujarati by Jagdish Dave. Dwyer's book seems all right but neither of them are that great... in fact, I've even noticed mistakes in them.
Does anyone know of anything else???
1. Which languages have voiceless nasal? How is it transcribed?
2. Who has heard of the infamous "nasal-ingressive voiceless velar trill"?
I am under the impression that all surviving Germanic languages, with the exception of German, Icelandic, Faroese and Elfdalian, have lost case declension, at least as far as nouns and adjectives are concerned (pronouns are tricky things). Is this true or am I missing something?
