Hi! I'm a new member, sent over by a member of ljgenie in regards to a vocabulary question I have (having looked over the community, I'm glad on an overall level that I've found it, it looks really interesting):
If a group of three men in power is known as a triumvirate (Latin: tri = three, vir = man), what would a group of three women in power be known as? A triumfeminate? (Since femina is Latin for woman...)
Brief linguaphile bio: I was born an English speaker, have a Bachelor of Arts in Études Françaises and took three years of Latin in high school.
Thanks in advance,
