I've now completely lost my example, but--
What on earth is a "-たる (-taru) adjective," and how does it work? I can operate -な (-na) and -い (-i) til I'm blue in the face, but I can't understand what -たる (-taru) adjectives even are. Would it be a verb that ends in -たる (-taru) that's now used only as an adjective?
